In short and without legal jargon: what happens to the data you provide, why I need it, and what you can do with it at any time.
The data controller is Krzysztof Gicala, operating a business under the name kgcla media, ul. Stefana Batorego 41, 32-005 Niepolomice, Poland, NIP 9452288719, REGON 528073786.
For matters concerning personal data, email hello@kgcla.media. I respond personally; there is no separate department or external company handling this.
I collect three things: your name, email address and message. I need them solely to respond to your inquiry and, if applicable, discuss working together.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. I do not ask for separate consent because it is not required to respond to an inquiry. If we work together, further processing is carried out for the performance of the contract and for accounting purposes, including issuing invoices, as also required by tax law.
After submitting the form, you will receive a copy of your own message at your email address. This is simply a confirmation so you have a record of what you sent. It is not a newsletter or marketing message, and there is no need to unsubscribe because no further messages are sent.
If you contact me directly, I process the data contained in your message for the same purpose and on the same legal basis.
I use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify individual people. I only see aggregated figures: how many people visited the website, which pages they visited and which country they came from. I cannot link this data to a specific person.
This website does not set its own cookies or track you for advertising purposes. That is why you will not see a cookie consent pop-up here.
The only exception is when you click play on an embedded YouTube video. The videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode, so nothing is stored until you click play. Once the player is started, YouTube may store its own cookies on your device in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. If you do not want this, simply do not play the videos or watch them directly on YouTube.
The light and dark theme switch saves your choice in your browser's local storage. This is technical information that is not sent anywhere and does not reveal anything about you.
I do not sell or share data with anyone for marketing purposes. I do use services that are necessary for the website and email to function.

Some of these companies are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Data transfers are carried out using mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, including standard contractual clauses and European Commission adequacy decisions.
At any time, you can:
One email to hello@kgcla.media is enough. I will respond within one month at the latest, usually much sooner.
If you believe that I process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
No. Providing your data is entirely voluntary, but without an email address I have no way to respond. Instead of using the form, you can always email me directly at hello@kgcla.media or call me.
If the way the website operates changes, I will update this document and change the date at the top. There are no hidden provisions here that could change without your knowledge.
